چکیده

Abiotic stress such as light can cause injuries or damage to the plant cells biochemical processes in plants. Difference of conditions resulted different morphological and physiological responses This study is done determine response Clinacanthus nutans under condition results defense mechanism. one species that contains higher medicinal value currently being commercialised alternative treatment treat various ailments. Four weeks was on five samples each condition. Observation morphologically shows A (exposed fully sunlight) appear bigger stem diameter, longer root length, height pale colour compared B (shaded polyethylene netting). However, for leaf size parameter, has leaves A. Meanwhile, analysis, there difference chlorophyll content based (0.83 ± 0.463 Ca, 1.46 0.740 Cb 0.03 0.015 carotenoids A, 0.50 0.321 1.47 0.539 0.105 B) contain photosynthetic rate a result dry matter (0.27 0.017) It suggested ensure more accurate, period should be analysis primary secondary metabolites conducted.

Cerebrosides and a monoacylmonogalactosylglycerol from Clinacanthus nutans.

A mixture of nine cerebrosides and a monoacylmonogalactosylglycerol were separated from the leaves of Clinacanthus nutans. The structures of the cerebrosides were characterized as 1-O-beta-D-glucosides of phytosphingosines, which comprised a common long-chain base, (2S,3S,4R,8Z)-2-amino-8(Z)-octadecene-1,3,4-triol with nine 2-hydroxy fatty acids of varying chain lengths (C(16), C(18), C(20-26))...

Physiological and Morphological Responses of Almond Cultivars under In Vitro Drought Stress

In this study, physiological and morphological responses of five almond cultivars to drought stress were investigated under in vitro conditions. Plantlets from five commercial almond cultivars (Supernova’, ‘Tuono’, ‘Sahand’, ‘Ferragnes ’ and ‘Shahroud 21’] were established in MS medium containing 0.5 mg per liter BAP and then subcultured  in MS proliferation medium containing 1 mg per liter BAP...

Morphological and Physiological Responses of Euonymus (Euonymus japonicas) to Exogenous Paclobutrazol under Salinity Stress

Paclobutrazol (PBZ) is one of the most important triazole compounds. This compound increases plant tolerance to environmental stresses. A study aimed to investigate the effects of PBZ on morphological and biochemical traits of euonymus (Euonymus japonicas) exposed to NaCl stress. Plants were treated with three levels of PBZ (0, 500 and 1000 mg L-1) and four levels of NaCl (0...

Physiological Responses of Some Rootstocks and Interspecific Hybrids of Pistachio to Cold Stress under Greenhouse Conditions

Cold is an environmental factor limiting the growth and yield of agricultural crops. To find cold-tolerant pistachio rootstocks, a factorial experiment was conducted at Pistachio Research Center (PRC), Rafsanjan, Iran during 2017-2018. The factors included six rootstocks (Badami Zarand, Ghazvini, Sarakhs, Integerrima × Badami Zarand, Integerrima × Ghazvini and Integerrima × Sarakhs) and four th...
